Yan Shen, associate professor, who had completed her doctorate in pharmaceutics at China Pharmaceutical University (CPU) in 2010 and now become a master supervisor of pharmaceutics in CPU. Prof. Shen’s research interests were focused on applying pH-sensitive charge-reversal cell penetrating peptide for brain targeting drug delivery and multifunctional hollow gold nanoparticles designed for triple combination anti-cancer therapy. Prof.Shen has worked as a one-year visiting scholar at Northeastern University in 2016. From her visiting research work, she has obtained several nano-structured gold materials which can be potentially applied to the future design of chemotherapy, photothermal therapy and radiotherapy for targeted delivery in cancer treatment. Prof. Shen’s has received several grants from Natural Science Foundation of China, fundamental and cultivated Research Funds of the Central Universities for Young Scholar from 2013-2016. She also participated in several projects supported by China Pharmacopoeia Committee and pharmaceutical companies. Prof Shen is a member of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association and a editorial member of Journal of Pharmaceutical Research. She has 20 publications with SCI impact factor more than 50 and held two Chinese patents. Prof. Shen had received Borui Teaching Achievement and Teaching Competition rewards for Young Teachers in China Pharmaceutical University in 2013.
