On January 19, the signing ceremony of China Pharmaceutical University—Nanjing Miaobang Beauty Joint Laboratory was held in Room G514 of R&D Building on Jiangning Campus. The enterprise representatives led by Li Jiguo, President and Li Mengfei, Executive President of Nanjing Miaobang Beauty and Zhang Shiying, Secretary of CPC of this school, Vice Dean Yin Lifang all participated in the ceremony. Other teacher representatives ranging from leaders of the joint laboratory Liu Jianping and Song Wenting, LV Huixia, Director of the Pharmaceutical Experiment Center, and Zhang Wenli were all invited.
At the beginning, Secretary Zhang Shiying delivered a speech. She said that in order to encourage the application of innovative techniques to better serve the society, China Pharmaceutical University set up a R&D Platform for Dermal Drug Delivery and Cosmetics in the School of Pharmacy. This platform will carry out R&D of dermal health products and transdermal delivery systems, hoping to further theoretical and applied research concomitantly, which is marked by both technical innovation and product transfer. The joint laboratory established by this platform and Nanjing Miaobang Beauty, is in line with the original intention of CPU to Serve the society with the innovative technology of colleges and universities.
Then, Li Jiguo, President of Miao Bang Beauty, briefly introduced the operation of Miao Bang Beauty as well as the company's brand Dr. Miao, which is dedicated to skin care with herbal technology for acne treatment. He said that the joint laboratory created by Miao Bang Beauty and China Pharmaceutical University together will focus on the research of herbal skin care and skin treatment. In the coming future, Miao Bang Beauty will fully support the research and development of the cooperation between university and enterprises to bear fruit.
Afterwards, Mr. Li signed a contract with Yin Lifang, Vice Dean of the school and unveiled the joint laboratory together with Mrs. Zhang Shiying, It announced that the China Pharmaceutical University-Nanjing Miao Bang Beauty Joint Laboratory was officially established.
