Our Faculty and Students Provide Excellent Volunteer Service for Two Important International Conferences

Presidents, deans and representatives of 41 world high-level pharmacy schools from 14 countries, including the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Singapore, etc., gathered in Nanjing to discuss the path of global pharmacy education and scientific development at the Second Global Symposium on the Development of Pharmacy Schools and International Pharmacy Postgraduate Academic Forum hosted by CPU. Further, the guests and us jointly pursue the dream of a long-term future for global medicine. The faculty and students in our school have been invited to provide volunteer service.

During the Symposium, 43 teacher volunteers provide one-to-one accompanying of foreign guests. The task of transporting experts to and from the meeting room is pretty huge. Many of them need to go to Shanghai to pick up the plane in spite of their busy schedule. Their efforts have won the unanimously high praise from the guests for the enthusiastic, considerate and high-quality volunteer service. In addition to the transportation of foreign guests, a total of 41 student volunteers selected from the school's Yan Ling Volunteer Team, provide us a strong support. Volunteers carefully check the schedule of foreign guests and guide them to ensure that all foreign guests could participate in the various agendas on time.

During the International Pharmacy Postgraduate Academic Forum, our school undertake the hosting of four sub-forums, in which a total of more than 50 teachers and students volunteered. The volunteers have been professionally trained to dress uniformly and hold the spirit of teamwork with close cooperation. Their professionalism impresses the foreign guests through reception, etiquette guide, visiting, on-site services and other details. Yin Changhao, a student volunteer who participates in the whole volunteer service, says that the volunteer work allows him to exercise his ability, open up his eyes, and broaden the knowledge. Still, he has deeply appreciated the sense of mission and responsibility of his generation. He will endeavor to study hard to grow up in the coming future.

During the three-day service, nearly 150 teachers and student volunteers of our school try their best to ensure the holistic success of the conferences with full enthusiasm and responsible attitude. Their efforts demonstrate the international image and youth figure of the school with good spirit, becoming a bright landscape of this international forum.
